My only complaint was the lack of a built in headphone jack for private listening, so you'll have to pay a bit more for the headphone adapter if you plan on using headphones.

The only drawback is the lack of earphone jack but this can be corrected for 5 pounds ($8-10)

The only complains are the lack of a headphone jack and that some old games are really hard to find, but a big plus is that you can find some of them REALLY cheap, I got some classic games even at 2-3$ each

So if you become fed up with the GBA's bulky size, bad colors, and LACK OF LIGHT, you can go to your nearest Circuit City and buy a brand spanking new Onyx (black) Game Boy Advance SP
-
The only downside of the SP is the lack of headphone jacks
-
Secondly, the big complaint from most, is the lack of an apparent headphone jack

to the one con of more difficult L and R button access.
-
The controls are basic with the traditional GameBoy control config with the SNES-inspired L and R buttons on the corners of the console

Alright, so when I first bought this my Gameboy SP had no working L &
-
it's great to have the backlighted screen, but I can't say it's as crisp, sharp and bright as I would have hoped.

Worked as far as we have tried it.
-
It's not quite as sharp as the Gameboy Micro's screen but there is nothing to worry about

love this! A+
