The current Game Boy SP has a model number of AGS-101 whereas the original release was AGS-001.

However it was the model number I wanted and wasn't the knock off that other people seemed to have gotten

The only thing I ask of the sellers (this includes sellers for the same console) to include the model number of the device

The model number was AGS-001, which is significantly different from AGS-101 model

The way to tell is to look at the model number, the orignal SP

This game boy model has the back lit screen and for all the sellers out there the model number is AGS-101

(Hint- the ags 101s are usually on the last page of listings, also if the selling doesn’t list the model number, it is most likely an ags 001).

ds i would highly recomend this one over the nintendo ds because the ds is cool but the screen is split and it can not play any games that the gameboys play so your best to get the gba sp

The light and battery and foldable screen and easier D-pad, A and B button pressing are 4 pros

I usually use my ds for gameboy games because of the back light, but I recently broke my ds hinges which made playing games while laying in bed awful

I was worried he would be disappointed with the size or the graphics but u was wrong.

Some of the dust were on the screen, works well and thank u for the both of them that they were AWESOME...

For 100 bucks, I find this to be an amazing bargain b/
