Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP - Cobalt

    • This is one of the best video game systems ever
    • This is a terrific system
    • I tend to be the kind of guy that works a system to its limit, just through legitimate/standard means
    • This portable gaming system has the exact same inside parts as the original GBA, it is simply redesigned to fit the GBA SP's more compact shape
    • The Game Boy Advance was and still is an excellent system, and really put Nintendo ahead by a mile in the portable gaming industry.
    • My son and Daughter really like the system, but I can't buy the system because it cost to much
    • I had never owned a portable system before.
    • The system is awesome
    • It also has a foldover design that enables the screen to be protected when not in use, thereby avoiding the scratches the original system was susceptible to.
    • While doing research on various portable game systems with an eye towards homebrew development I eventually settled on this model
    • I think the new game boy advance will be a great system that can only be topped with something even greater
    • He plays this as much as his newer, more expensive systems.
    • But totally got a useless system, with unresponsive buttons
    • MARVELOUS!OK, the system IS truly expensive, but it's absolutely worth it for those who didn't get an original GBA, and for those who already have a GBA, take my advice
    • I would suggest to other buyers to pay the extra dollars $80 to $100 to get a much better quality system with an intact screen and fully functioning buttons.
    • Both system I would recommend more than an AGS-001 if you mainly have more GBA games
    • I would recommend this game system to any parent who is going to be travelling anywhere with their young children.
    • This is a great system
    • The system itself is the best system in all of GBA history.
    • With the light built in, and the filp screen, resulting in a very small size, i couldnt ask for much more in a portable system.
    • This is a great system for kids.
    • This is a really cool system but if you original gba dont bother
    • system!!It's a much better system than the old gameboys & even the newer Advance! With a built in blacklite, built in rechargable battery,&the sleek clamshell
    • This is truly the best system for retro gamers who want to play Nintendo's handheld titles
    • Overall, I love the SP game system.
    • A strong gaming system for a good price
    • The Gameboy SP is a nice little handheld system, that you can take with you anywhere
    • Finally, Nintendo has now created a more compact game system with a quality back-light (Hence the title)
    • When the Gameboy Color was released the insane need of appropiate ligth became an issue but this new model is really what gamers asked for since its a fold up its the smallest and easiest to carry around and it also protects the screen's delicate layer of plastic because as with all previous portable system scratch the scree enough the games are unplayable
    • I love this system
    • this potible slim stylish new version of game boy advance is the best gaming system ever
    • I think this system is great!I would like it more though if you dropped the price to $50.00
    • All these things combined make this one sleek system
    • ** I added this to my cart because it said **INCLUDES CHARGER, so after I purchased it o reviewed and saw NO CHARGER...very disappointed considering I could have saved a few bucks, overall great system.
    • Fantastic system, and I love living the 16-Bit era again, but it's not too worthwhile if you've already got a GBA SP to begin with.
    • The Good+It's still a classic system+A Super Nintendo in your pocket+Plays regular Gameboy games and Gameboy Color games (unlike the Micro and DS)+Excellent presentation of the games+Fold
    • I love this system
    • Anyway, all in all a great system, looong battery life (rechargable), light and portable, protected screen, good games, good ports from SNES
    • it is a great system and chaep price and worth it
    • The Game Boy Advance SP by Nintendo, is one of the best systems by nintendo
    • The system is cheaper, the games are cheaper, but the quality of the product and the games has never changed - still great after over 10 years
    • The GameBoy Advance SP is the best system from Nintendo so far
    • The Gameboy Advance debuted in 2001, and was an astonishing system to behold.
    • This is a great beginners game system
    • Like the Advance before it, The SP model promises better graphics, an improved sound system, with more music channels, and the shoulder buttons for more functions in your games
    • Bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed."With a description like this, you'd expect the system and charger, right?
    • this is a great system and my son enojoys it very uch it made his birthday
    • This is a really nice system
    • Best handheld system ever
    • The idea of a Gameboy is a portable game system, and the SP is a very portable system; nice pocket size, long rechargable battery life, front lighting allows game playing in more settings, light weight, and the notebook form factor even protects the screen on the road!
    • Scratched a little but is just a great gaming system
    • This is a great system.
    • My personal favorite handheld video-game system
    • It IS the right system, but I still feel a bit cheated, even though I'm not
    • Thankfully, Nintendo didn't repeat the same mistake with future portable systems
    • The Gameboy Advance Sp is THE BEST portable gaming system ever.
    • Great system and not too loud either.
    • This is a really great handheld Nintendo game system.
    • Although we are halfway through 2009, and PSP and Nintendo DS are the dominant portable systems, his one is still great, and now inexpensive
    • it is a great system for any time use.the only thing that i did not like that it had alot of scratches on the front of my product.
    • Also once the screen cracks for some reason, if it be frustrated and thrown, you might as well trash the system
    • I bought a Game Boy Advance on launch day in the U.S., and while it is a great system, I had a few problems with it.
    • I am trying to be a hard-core retro gamer, so I checked out some reviews and they all told me that if I want to be retro, this is the right system
    • With the SP, the fifth incarnation of Nintendo's classic portable gaming machine, gamers finally got a backlit screen and a rechargable battery pack, two additions which make this the best GameBoy system ever (and yes, it's still better than the recently released GameBoy Micro), and yes, not only does it play GBA titles, it also plays the old GameBoy and GameBoy Color cartridges as well.
    • O.O!This is a excellent system, and perfect to buy with any leftover Christmas money!
    • All these things combined make this one sleek system
    • Overall, I think this is a GREAT little system, I cannot believe they just left the Game Boy line of games to rot in a warehouse somewhere in Japan
    • I can describe many and many misuses of this amazing system, what makes me more amused is that it plays all the Gameboy games, Advanced and Color, even the very old Gameboy games
    • Unless you want the system of the next coupla years to look crappy, get flame, onyx, or cobalt
    • My favorite hand held system to this day
    • plus the games are not the gory bloody stuff you see all over modern game systems.
    • in all, a great, reliable system that can be used years to come!I hear that the pink and light blue ones have better battery life and a brighter screen, like the Nintendo DS Lite
    • nitendo has came along way in there portable systems
    • It's a great system
    • Fantastic system, and I love living the 16-Bit era again, but it's not too worthwhile if you've already got a GBA SP to begin with.
    • You people shuld like get this totaly rsadical system
    • In the end it is a GREAT system
    • Great system
    • I got the system pretty early and it work completely fine
    • In a word, this system is AWESOME
    • Always loved this system and i really wanted to have one again
    • The Game Boy Advance was the perfect portable game system
    • Excellent quality, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great handheld system.
    • I as a 23 year old gamer would ever be embarrassed to have in public, in fact I'm at work right now playing it and writing my review because its a pretty darn cool system
    • This is a super system and better than it's predicessor, the DS and even the newest Micro.
    • I would highly recommend these guys if you want this great little system for a good price.
    • The system stopped working
    • The games cost $40 and $50 and the system costs $250.So what system is the best?
    • I still love playing my GBA games when I'm out and crazy bored, and this compact system makes it so much easier
    • I'd rather have this than any other new or old portable game system.
    • Don't rely on that; the only time the system is comfortably usable without the light is in bright light (like sunlight)
    • The SP is in fact a very good system, had mine yesterday and was testing it out
    • It boasts a very compact design while having a much-improved backlighting system for its display
    • MARVELOUS!OK, the system IS truly expensive, but it's absolutely worth it for those who didn't get an original GBA, and for those who already have a GBA, take my advice
    • The Game Boy Advance SP is Nintendo's second revision to its popular handheld system
    • Great system and good for nostalgia.
    • this is a great system but one thing...when i die...it gliches but besides that it has a lite, and very copact...
    • Now, when you do that with an ordinary Game Boy Advance [or most any other portable system
    • I'd take this over a PSP any day of the week because the SP proves that it's the games, not the features, that make a portable system worth owning.
    • This is at long last a portable video game system that I actually can use out of the box without buying any adapters or accessories.
    • but the system does not work
    • I don't know who "decried" the original GBA's reflective LCD screen; the original GBA's screen is one of the highest quality screens available on a portable gaming system
    • save you a lot of money on batteries, the warning light works nicely, it feels like a sleek, modernized version of a vintage NES controller to hold, the frontlit screen (the lights, if you hold the SP at an angle, are actually placed around the perimeter of the front of the screen) minimizes glare and allows players to fully appreciate the system's graphical capabilities and the whole thing is compatible with existing Gameboy and Gameboy Color titles (except Kirby's Tilt-and-tumble).Casual gamers who decided not to get a Gameboy Advance because the combination of unlit screen and lots of colors made the games hard to see will be greatly relieved, as, after comparing my favourite games with the light on and off, the light makes a drastic improvement.
    • If you were concered about the small size don't worry my hands are fairly large, and holding the system was very comfortable
    • Nevertheless, the SP is the best portable system out there
    • Not only do I like the size of the SP, but I liked the fact that it didn't feel like I was going to go broke from buying the system, unlike some of the other portable systems available.
    • The SP is also probably the least bulky portable game system (but you'll still look like a loser if you carry it around in your pocket!)
    • Unlike some of the other portable game systems, this one is not bulky.
    • besideds that the system works well for a old handheld it runs
    • All these things combined make this one sleek system
    • If you are looking for a nice portable video game system, but don't have enough money for a 3DS or PSVita, get this!
    • Aside from that, it is a really great system
    • I wonder if the battery will be easily replaceable, of will you have the same problem as the IPOD, the battery is almost as costly as a new system.
    • Unless you want the system of the next coupla years to look crappy, get flame, onyx, or cobalt
    • my kids really love their gameboy advance this system is VERY durable and i like it because it stays charged for a long time and has a button to turn on and off the light for the screen
    • This is one of my favorite Nintendo handheld systems
    • A great system better than GBA
    • Nice quality, nice system, really fun to play, and over all one of the better systems I have played
    • Seriously, this system does improve upon GBA
    • Some people talk about better handheld game systems but the one at [...] is over $200 dollars and has no Nintendo games.
    • Unless you want the system of the next coupla years to look [bad], get flame, onyx, or cobalt
    • but it's still a minor problem to this near perfect system
    • This is a great game system, and I love it because it is so affordable, and everybody loves it
    • Overall, this is a system for kids and it's definitely worth it
    • Even with the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP out there, the GBA SP is still the best-selling portable video game system currently out there
    • I was looking for a nice system to play a few classic games on and it seemed so perfect, except for the price of the new ones
    • The recharger provided by Nitendo is not an universal voltage recharger, which is unforgivable with a "portable" system in these times and age.
    • The lighting system is tons better than my GBA-
    • and now they come up with an obviously better system
    • this is the best handheld system in the country
    • I have found out that this is a very durable system.
    • But system does work
    • I bough that system and still have it, works great and there was so many games for it, its not like its going to go out of style any time soon
    • Great system would of preferred it came with a cord to charge it
    • It is still a good system (why on earth would you compare this to the PSP?), but it's time to shine is coming to an end.
    • This system is great
    • My son received this as a birthday gift and it has got to be the best handheld game system ever
    • Best system
    • It's unbelievable that they did not include a headphone jack on a portable gaming system
    • And I like that when you are done playing you can close the flip-screen and have a very compact system that can be easily carried around in your pocket
    • great little system.
    • This is a great system for nostalgic folks like me who love playing the original NES games (and, like me, may have trouble with the fancy 3D controllers) as well as those who like the newer games.
    • Regardless of what I said, this system is amazing, and it's surely better than the original, so five stars for it!
    • That feature also helps make the SP the absolute best GameBoy system ever, since the Micro and the DS aren't compatable with them.
    • geez.- finally, for me, a 30 year old, I really enjoy this system.
    • I bought a Game Boy Advance on launch day in the U.S., and while it is a great system, I had a few problems with it
    • But besides that, the GBA SP is a fabulous game system, and is totally worth adding to your collection!
    • If you have been searching for a great handheld system your search is over
    • Good game system exactly like the game boy color system only more modernized and higher technology and it folds and has a back light and rechargable battery pack to just plug into the wall cool game system though it plays the old school game boy games, game boy color games, and the game boy advance games defently excellent game system.
    • With that said, I'd just like to say that the GBA SP is one heck of a portable gaming system, and you should definitely think about buying one if you like backwards compatability.
    • and it was a great system,
    • Great system, great games, looks beautiful, comes in a variety of colors, quality build, etc
    • Perfect system
    • The SP is also probably the least bulky portable game system (but you'll still look like a loser if you carry it around in your pocket!)
    • t was perfect!
