This is a terrific system

I tend to be the kind of guy that works a system to its limit, just through legitimate/standard means

This portable gaming system has the exact same inside parts as the original GBA, it is simply redesigned to fit the GBA SP's more compact shape

The Game Boy Advance was and still is an excellent system, and really put Nintendo ahead by a mile in the portable gaming industry.

My son and Daughter really like the system,but I can't buy the system because it cost to much

It also has a foldover design that enables the screen to be protected when not in use, thereby avoiding the scratches the original system was susceptible to.

MARVELOUS!OK, the system IS truly expensive, but it's absolutely worth it for those who didn't get an original GBA, and for those who already have a GBA, take my advice

I would suggest to other buyers to pay the extra dollars $80 to $100 to get a much better quality system with an intact screen and fully functioning buttons.

Both system I would recommend more than an AGS-001 if you mainly have more GBA games

I would recommend this game system to any parent who is going to be travelling anywhere with their young children.

The Gameboy SP is a nice little handheld system,that you can take with you anywhere

Finally, Nintendo has now created a more compact game system with a quality back-light (Hence the title)

When the Gameboy Color was released the insane need of appropiate ligth became an issue but this new model is really what gamers asked for since its a fold up its the smallest and easiest to carry around and it also protects the screen's delicate layer of plastic because as with all previous portable system scratch the scree enough the games are unplayable

Fantastic system, and I love living the 16-Bit era again, but it's not too worthwhile if you've already got a GBA SP to begin with.

The idea of a Gameboy is a portable game system, and the SP is a very portable system; nice pocket size, long rechargable battery life, front lighting allows game playing in more settings, light weight, and the notebook form factor even protects the screen on the road!

I don't know who "decried" the original GBA's reflective LCD screen; the original GBA's screen is one of the highest quality screens available on a portable gaming system

save you a lot of money on batteries, the warning light works nicely, it feels like a sleek, modernized version of a vintage NES controller to hold, the frontlit screen (the lights, if you hold the SP at an angle, are actually placed around the perimeter of the front of the screen) minimizes glare and allows players to fully appreciate the system's graphical capabilities and the whole thing is compatible with existing Gameboy and Gameboy Color titles (except Kirby's Tilt-and-tumble).Casual gamers who decided not to get a Gameboy Advance because the combination of unlit screen and lots of colors made the games hard to see will be greatly relieved, as, after comparing my favourite games with the light on and off, the light makes a drastic improvement.

If you were concered about the small size don't worry my hands are fairly large, and holding the system was very comfortable

my kids really love their gameboy advance this system is VERY durable and i like it because it stays charged for a long time and has a button to turn on and off the light for the screen

Good game system exactly like the game boy color system only more modernized and higher technology and it folds and has a back light and rechargable battery pack to just plug into the wall cool game system though it plays the old school game boy games, game boy color games, and the game boy advance games defently excellent game system.

With that said, I'd just like to say that the GBA SP is one heck of a portable gaming system, and you should definitely think about buying one if you like backwards compatability.
