Nintendo New 3DS XL - Black

    • It has good sound, large screens, bright color abilities, the 3D blows my mind, and it has a bunch of stuff on
    • SCRATCHESI will also note that Nintendo seems to have fixed the issue where the top screen gets scratched by the plastic border of the bottom screen, the rubber pads are much thicker and wider and provide a lot of protection
    • Your best bet is to play the lottery a few times via Amazon by returning for a replacement until you get the best screen, unless you don't mind settling for the TN (which renders the 3D tracking useless).Attached is a comparison photo that I hope will help in showing the difference between the screens of the 3DS XL, N3DS, N3DS XL TN, and N3DS XL IPS.
    • So many great games.. love the XL screen!
    • THe original 3DS hurt my eyes with the 3D, the screen had weird interlacing issues when not in 3D as well
    • The screen on this product stoped working as little more than a month after purchase, it is not cracked or broken, just not functioning.
    • Pros: Large, bright screens, sleeky shiny look, C-Stick works better than I expected, buttons are satisfyingly clicky, charge lasts decently long, new 3D is really good (coming from someone who hated the old 3D), the new button placement seems better overall
    • A few cons: you need screen protectors cause the screens are sensitive
    • This “C-Stick” is used to rotate the screen like with a right stick for standard controllers for other systems, which makes it easier to play some games that require you to rotate the screen such as Resident Evil Revelations
    • Great product, the top screen has some side to side movement but besides that is a great product.
    • And the screen is also a bit nicer than predecessor
    • its like a split screen sometimes
    • THe original 3DS hurt my eyes with the 3D, the screen had weird interlacing issues when not in 3D as well
    • its like a split screen sometimes
    • The graphics and larger screen improve its playability.
    • Mine runs like a champ, the screen looks fantastic, and I've had 0 issues with it
    • Good quality build and good screens
    • My top screen has some really bad static on it, you can lightly feel it when putting your finger to the screen, and it attracts dust through static cling way more than it should
    • Nothing was wrong with it but make sure you get a screen protector cause of how the bottom screen may scratch the top
    • The screen and 3D on this is awesome!!
    • Great screen size, comes with it's own micro SD 4
    • I also purchased the same device locally, and got a TFN upper screen as well
    • Super responsive touch screen
    • The screen is crisp and clear which I would expect from all consoles however do not always get what I want
    • Received the very sub par TN screen rather than the superior IPS display, very dissatisfied but I don't have the time or energy to deal with playing the return lottery
    • Snappier, nicer screen, color is more of a gunmetal than black.
    • My top screen has some really bad static on it, you can lightly feel it when putting your finger to the screen, and it attracts dust through static cling way more than it should
    • I love the bigger screen and it is comfortable to hold in my hands
    • THe original 3DS hurt my eyes with the 3D, the screen had weird interlacing issues when not in 3D as well
    • But the large screens are nice, and make playing games (especially platformers like Donkey Kong) a lot easier.
    • Perhaps some of that is attributed to the bigger, brighter screen, but I suspect some of that is also due to the processor
    • the 3d adjustable screen -- very cool!
    • I love the two big screens
    • The screen is abysmal
    • The top screen was very wobbly and got fixed too, however, since it was fixed it started wobbling again.
    • Right away, the 3d screen and effects were improved from the original, the larger screen is nice, the additional buttons will make playing newer games easier, and the faster processor makes updates faster
    • SCRATCHESI will also note that Nintendo seems to have fixed the issue where the top screen gets scratched by the plastic border of the bottom screen, the rubber pads are much thicker and wider and provide a lot of protection
    • Dual screens are fun to use
    • The larger screen is worth it.
    • The screen for the New Nintendo 3Ds also look great, while not as high resolution as you think, they work fine for 3DS games and also is a lot easier on the eyes than the 3Ds XL considering the screen is larger
    • Nice big screen but still portable, connects to wifi with no issues
    • They need to fix the top screen wobbling issue because i have encountered this many times and i still have it happening to me even after it being fixed once already.
    • Needed an upgrade from my 2DS, And I love the bigger screen
    • Can't get over how much better the screen looks
    • I should also note that anyone who has owned the old 3DS model might know about its notorious screen scratch problem where some units would close too tightly and scratch their own screens.
    • Otherwise, I'm told this is great with a perfect screen, more comfortable grip and faster speed compared to his old one.
    • I envied the original 3DS, which had it properly in the middle where it cannot bother me, but hated the tiny screens
    • After a couple of uses the top and bottom screen gets dirty, but you can dampen a cloth and wipe the smudges off
    • Also, the bigger screen is better for playing games like Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, Kingdom Hearts and Mario Kart.
    • That being said, I already like the profile of the New 3DS as well as the much improved upper screen
    • Faster, seems like it might be built sturdier, great screen, much better 3D. I am very happy with my purchase, especially because I had the oldest 3ds version previously, and the L and R buttons were not very reliable anymore on that one
    • They need to fix the top screen wobbling issue because i have encountered this many times and i still have it happening to me even after it being fixed once already.
    • Very Similiar to old 3DS XL(other sizes for new 3ds haven't been scheduled for release yet in US) but with these New Features.-To Accompany the Circle Pad of old the new 3ds now has a nub controller on the right side of 3ds to work as a second circle pad-Repositioned volume button that is now on the left side of the top screen (harder to accidental adjust volume now)-Improved 3D Effect accomplished by the system auto adjusting to your position so the 3D effect is more clear and hurt your eyes less-2 more back buttons much more like standard controllers of today-New 3DS uses micro sd cards instead of sd cards (micro sd cards are not accessible from outside the system, moved under back plate by battery)-Longer Lasting Battery aprox 30 mins longer aprox 5 to 6 hours (turn wifi and 3d off when not using it and turn power saving on for best battery life)-Faster CPU which will allow it to play games that old 3DS will not beable to play only one scheduled so far is Xenoblade ChroniclesNote
    • Some people may find the c-stick a little bit awkward to use
    • just like the regular 3ds XL, just with an upgraded system and a c-stick and more stable 3d
    • The C-stick works good
    • Lever C (C-Stick): difficulty in lowering
    • , the added speed makes the operating system a lot more responsive, while also powering some heavy games such as Smash Bros 3DS (it no longer requires a restart on New 3DS) and Isaac Rebirth (will not work on older systems), amiibo support works super well especially with Smash Bros, and the C-Stick works rather well
    • There's also a C Stick added which.. to be honest it works fine but doesn't feel as comfortable as a C Stick should
