Nintendo New 3DS XL - Super NES Edition + Super Mario Kart for SNES

    • I enjoy the bigger screens and the larger layout as compared to the original 3ds
    • The screen is also very bright, depending on your settings
    • The down side is that the edges of the bottom screen still scrapes the top screens but I just bought screen protectors for the top screen so it can't be scratched
    • I don't mind that the top screen is a TN
    • So, I know people are complaining about screen qualities, but honestly, my screen looks beautiful when I play
    • I am delicate with my hinge areas, and I use both hands to open my screen, to avoid stress fracturing the screen
    • The nostalgic feeling completes with the SNES game "Super Mario Kart" that comes included in the package! To preserve it to the fullest I bought together an acrylic case and hori films for both screens!I do not know very well if it came with a TN or IPS screen (not that it makes any difference to me), but I noticed that the upper screen has a brighter than the lower one, and that it less distorts the colors by looking sideways
    • I think it came with TN on the bottom screen and IPS on the top screen
    • the screens are fine there big bright and mine had no dead
    • It has a microphone, a stylus and really good speakers along with a really good touch screen.
    • The hinge is nice and tight, and the screen is really sharp.
    • Both screens are bright
    • I have played on my friend’s New 3DS XL, which has a top IPS screen, and it does appear brighter, but the colors also look a bit too strong.
    • the tn (twisted nematic) screens use alot less battery consumption especially on the new 3ds (XL) and the screens are much brighter the only difference is the lack of color saturation and this makes the snes
    • Great screen size and actually more affordable than all the other New 3ds XLs at the time
    • Duel TN screens look cheap
    • , I feel like the top screen should be more rigid.
    • In person the screen is very crisp and clean :)
    • I loved how the retro SNES design looks on this New Nintendo 3DS XL, but the screen is really terrible and seems cheap for the price tag of $199.99
    • Some pixels are not working in the top screen and Amazon refused to replace the device for me
    • Get yourself a tempered glass cover for the upper screen and a soft plastic screen protector for the
    • In the case of this specific model, it sounds like they are all TN screens across the board.
    • the tn (twisted nematic) screens use alot less battery consumption especially on the new 3ds (XL) and the screens are much brighter the only difference is the lack of color saturation and this makes the snes
    • You just might find you prefer the TN screens after all
    • im sure most people just want to play gamesand here is another thing for the screen freaks that hate on this system
    • I hardly able to play any games on this 3DS due to the terrible blurry screen (3D was turned off), so I decided to return it and get a poke ball Nintendo 2DS XL instead
    • TN" screens are totally usable
    • The nostalgic feeling completes with the SNES game "Super Mario Kart" that comes included in the package! To preserve it to the fullest I bought together an acrylic case and hori films for both screens!I do not know very well if it came with a TN or IPS screen (not that it makes any difference to me), but I noticed that the upper screen has a brighter than the lower one, and that it less distorts the colors by looking sideways
    • Not 100% sure if that's the bad quality screens I keep reading about (TN screens) or if mine was straight up defective
    • The design is cool, the screens are easy to read and the battery life is very good.
    • I do have some SNES Virtual Console games downloaded that are very dim on the 3DS already so any brightness helps, and the screen looks fine as long as you are not comparing it to an IPS screen
    • product seemed new just by looking at the box but upon opening i noticed that there are a few scratches on the top screen and someone who expected a brand new product, i expect there not to be any marks or scratches upon opening, not to mention i haven’t even used it yet.
    • On the left black edition on the left green edition with top IPS screen and bottom TN far exceeds the rest
    • It's far more important to focus on how well calibrated the screen is on a 3DS (be it TN or IPS), that the top screen matches the temperature of the bottom screen, and that the hinge is sturdy.
    • , I feel like the top screen should be more rigid.
    • is a lot to ask put a decent quality displays and IPS displays; is 2018 even an iPhone 4 has better screen quality than this, pretty lame!
    • Specific to the SNES unit I have:- the top screen is very slightly crooked, tilted clockwise
    • Apparently I had been very fortunate, and the unit that I sold had IPS screens for both the top and bottom screen
    • Specific to the SNES unit I have:- the top screen is very slightly crooked, tilted clockwise
    • The SNES decal looks great and the screen seems like a well-done TN panel
    • The screen flickers off and
    • Build quality seems top notch - no defects, no screen wiggle like my old 3DS XL
    • Bigger screen sure is nice
    • The screens on mine are just as good as my other 3DSXL
