The switch fits perfectly in it, it's really sturdy, does seem to provide adequate protection and the design in the exterior is really good.

I like the hardshell design with the woven thread on the outside and the soft material on the inside

The case doesn't have much extra room, but considering the case is designed to protect, you get exactly what you pay for, for less than what GameStop or Best Buy will ask for inferior protection.
