I would say the Wii U is the better system, simply because it has more features and the games are cheaper but its not current anymore and everyone seems to well, kinda ignore it, but I don't think its really worth ignoring as its actually pretty great

Not only are games for the Wii-u cheap in 2018, but there is a lot more good ones

if not successful replace it, however it can take multiple weeks so it is still aggravating especially because if it can not be fixed and it is replaced, you loose all the data and games that are downloaded on to the console (all of which cost a lot of money) and I am being told by my gamer son this is quite devastating

but Nintendo has really opened up there online store to include more mature games.

Don't get me wrong, Breath of the Wild is a great game, but you don't spend $350 to play one game

We buy all the games digitally no game cards easier to switch between and can't lose them and can't damage the system trying to put them in or out

Maybe this is not a console for the ones who likes very-well detailed games as far cry 5 or red dead redemption II, but Nintendo has something that has nothing to do with the best graphics

Since it is both a portable and a home console I can play my favorite games at home, during a commute, or at work (only during breaks, of course)

Really good indie games and solid first party games.

It’s a pretty great console with lots of good and very fun games

The games are all very kid friendly and lots of multiplayer games make it easy for them to pick up and play whether they want to take turns on Fortnite, race each other in Mario Kart, or Co-Op in Mario Oddysey

The games are awesome and this thing is durable.

The games available are still pretty limited, given the console is pretty new on the market, and titles available are pretty expensive compared to the previous versions of Nintendo games

Honestly I could care less about switch games so far, but I’d pay $300 for it even if all it did was play all classic games

We LOVE the switch and its games but the controllers are AWFUL.

After the online subscription, after jumping through more hoops than a dolphin at Sea world, you can play Tetris 99, which is terribly fun, or you can play some old NES games, most of them are good, but honestly, instead of mighty bomb jack, super Metroid, give me some super nes games, give me some 64 games, fo free

No annoying UI, easy setup, games are fun and never experience crashes or errors

but since I’ve gotten my switch I’ve been glued to it because of the franchise that it is and all the amazing games released exclusively for it

It's a system that already has a good stock of excellent games, not to mention even more on the eShop (give Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and Shovel Knight a try!).

There is an online, Nintendo store on the console, where you can download demos, see latest news on upcoming games or recent/popular games as well as buy a digital copy of a game to download, if you don't prefer physical copies of games

A good game to start with is Mario Odyssey

The games are of course more expensive than games normally cost on other systems, on other systems games drop in price pretty fast but these do not, so for the multi-system games I will be buying those on another system for the cost savings, I think if you consume a lot of games you would probably save money by purchasing another game system or on PC if you play on PC to buy your multi-system games on instead of buying every switch game that comes out.

We have been having a ton of fun with this system, really enjoy the game selection, as well as the versatility of it being both hand held and easy to dock and use the tv

So far it does not have that many great games, but the games it does have are truly a master piece

I have only two complaints: the games aren't cheap and the library is not very big

The other drawback (at this time) is the number of available games.

At this time Nintendo has or is in the process of porting all the major titles that were on the Wii U, and is making new ever increasingly fun games

its only comes with 30 or so gigs and games with updates will eat that up quick.. but heres the thing i only got like 4 games and still have 18 gigs left

It has tons of amazing games, Zelda and Mario, Doom, Skyrim, and lots of great games are on the way

I tried 4 different games to be 100% sure what the problem was and it is 100%: a failure of the right controller button "ZR" to function after 36 days of use.

The games are not cheap either after looking on line as to what you need to do multiple times we figured it out .For something this new and pricey to me not worth it at all

Or don’t come and complain that there isn’t enough kid friendly games besides Mario odyssey and mariokart etc for it!

Good games on It too

You have to pay for online, which is dirt cheap compared to XBox Gold and PS Plus, but it just doesn't actually offer anything apart from letting you play online, while rival consoles give you free games each month.

I'm an avid pc gamer who's preferred console for the last 15 years was Xbox

however nearly all large scale popular and immersive video games that you might want to play on this device will yield a similar if not worse battery life, thus greatly limiting the main differentiating feature of this device

Great games

The console runs great on in the dock as well as in hand

Not all games run as well as on stronger platforms, but most are optimized for what the Switch can handle

In all seriousness, the stand is absolute garbage for a stand, it literally just sucks as in just a slight touch it falls over

The dock, for one, is about as halfhearted as it can get

I am enjoying it as much as I can!
