The Joycon controllers, however, are really unreliable

The joycon controllers are pretty uncomfortable for an adult male, with tiny buttons that hurt to press down for a while

However, having to constantly pair the joycon controllers is a chore

I'm a Nintendo fan again after a long time away, I hate the Joycon controllers though.

I recommend it b/c the games are really a family friendly type of entertainment that I love to spend my free time with my kids, given that I was a gamer as a kid and younger adult.

I recommend the Switch not b/c of the graphics, or the CPU power, or the leading edge games.
