it doesn’t come with the hard case
-
Don’t like the cloth case
-
But get a hard case carrier as included cloth bag not much protection
-
Was not fond of the soft case that comes with the unit
-
Also, it did come with a storage bag, but I ended up also purchasing a zippered hard-case from Caseling
-
You can buy a hard case for it, but it's an expensive extra
-
Make sure you buy the cool case to keep all the accessories together.
-
I like the hard case that is available separately for this.
-
For the price "NOCO" should give a hard case to protect the pack that would be very 100% satisfied
-
The Noco hard case is worth the investment too.
-
I recommend the carrying case as well

After a bit over 3 years of ownership with light use, I went to use this booster to jump a dead vehicle and discovered that it had swelled and cracked the case open

The lithium battery inside had expanded and broken the case open
-
Otherwise, this is great and I did buy the protective case so the GB70 can be kept in the trunk with no worries.
-
I do recommend a case - I got this one

The jumper feels high quality, although for the price I wish it came with a better carrying case instead of a cheap stuff sack
-
The storage bag is cheesy and for the price it wouldn't have killed them to give a semi rigid case to store this all in.
-
Beefed than most I only wish it had a nice carrying case
-
Started my dead case 580 backhoe that only had one battery in it no problem.
-
My supposition from this experience is that the GB70 might have worked on a partially discharged battery where your car clicks, but does not turn over(best case scenario), but is under-rated for a dead battery(worst case scenario)
-
After 4 years, I noticed that the hard plastic case had begun to split open as the battery was expanding.
-
Accidently ran over it with my old 79 chev 3/4 ton pickup ,cracked the case a little but still seems to work ok!!

I purchased a GB70 in 2016 and discovered today that the battery has swollen and split the casing open

Purchased the hard case from Amazon and it was a perfect fit:

During year 2 of ownership, the internal battery pack swelled up like a balloon with so much force that it broke the case open
-
Really easy to use, very powerful, great to have around the house as well as in the car
-
The car was parked in a bad spot for jumping, nose in against a fence and a bunch of total strangers running as fast as they could from the guy with his hood up
-
Very powerful I have used it about 10 times never failed to start a vehicle, I work in a car dealership as a

Power on the unit; hold down, the “manual over ride” button (red) for about 3 seconds, the charge LED’s begin to chase one after the other which indicates the unit is ready to jump start
