NOCO GENIUS10, 10-Amp Fully-Automatic Smart Charger, 6V And 12V Battery Charger, Battery Maintainer, And Battery Desulfator With Temperature Compensation

    • Most likely sending this hunk of junk back, because a 10 amps is "fast charging" for a 12 volt battery, which isn't good for it's lifespan, so it's not even worthy of being a simple "battery charger"
    • great little charger put it on and let it run overnight will top off the charge in the battery
    • My Battery Tender showed the battery as fully charged, but it wouldn't start my car.
    • I Plugged it in, hooked it up to my battery and chose the proper setting (in my case, 12V normal charging).
    • No buzzing noises, no heat, just good quick charging and maintaining.
    • The batteries never held some amazing charge
    • Heavy duty and good charges
    • First, it delivers a fast charge at 10 amps.
    • My experience was the same on three different battery's, 2 flooded, 1 AGM.Regardless of the state of charge prior to charging, even a battery that was ether a little above 50% charged ( around 12.2 volts or below 50%, ( around 11.9 volts ), within the FIRST minute of charging the charger would work it's way past the 25% red light, 50% red light, 75% orange light and then illuminate a pulsing green, indicating it was in the topping charge mode ( reduce rate of change at around 2 to 3 amps)
    • My Lithium battery was not receiving a charge, and it finally failed after seven years of duty
    • Compact, charges quickly, easy-to-use
    • but it looks like it took a charge
    • Not his car is running great again and battery is holding a charge and working like new.
    • This charger has no way to reduce the charge rate (like my previous charger had) from the 10 Amps it puts out
    • Uses a proprietary cord connection, which requires a separate adapter if you wish to use an SAE cable.10a charging is great, but competitors offer the same thing for less
    • According to their tech department, the charger should begin the topping charge at about 85 to 90% of a full charge
    • But because this awesome device has Force mode, I was able to bring my battery (which the Genius couldn't even detect a charge in originally) back from the dead, after which I ran Repair Mode on it
    • Left key on my boat battery for 7 months in storage,, it was dead, 0 charge, wouldn't kick charger on
    • Wasted money on 2 of these units only to find out after my return timeframe that they will not properly charge lifepo4 (shows full charge until the battery drops below 10%)
    • You will also get the level indicator at the top to start working correctly (this works even if the battery's dry, but from dry, it can't hold enough charge to increase; you'll just see it bounce from one to two and back to one over and over again while lights flicker.
    • With the Noco 10, I was able to charge the lead acid battery from a completely dead state to 100% SOC, 100% SOH - the charging and boost feature worked great!
    • this was after she kept telling me to do ridiculous stuff, like turning off everything in the camper while charging because "batteries don't like to have any load draw while charging".
    • Can force charge batteries that have drained beyond normal chargers ability to charge.
    • , it needed a solid charge
    • this was after she kept telling me to do ridiculous stuff, like turning off everything in the camper while charging because "batteries don't like to have any load draw while charging".
    • Solid, well built charger with easy options including automatic maintenance free charging that never has to be disconnected
    • The charger has worked well in charging Lead Acid AGM and LiFePO batteries.
    • The only complaint I have is that the unit gets hot during charging -- almost too hot to touch
    • No buzzing noises, no heat, just good quick charging and maintaining.
    • Worked great charging a dead battery as well
    • There are options to fast charge, trickle charge, or repair damaged batteries.
    • Jumped it but seems like it never held a charge for more than a couple of days
    • By not providing any guidelines for how the product should operate, they can pretty much put out whatever crap chargers they want and lean back on their "SUPER SECRET GENIUS" method of charging lead acid batteries, which is crap.- The NOCO charger uses too low of a voltage
    • I’m an engineer with experience in charging lead acid batteries
    • The first two weeks the charger worked good charging dead batteries, but after the Second week the charger had trouble charging and it would turn off by itself
    • Son of a gun it completely refreshed the batter and a full charge
    • The real world genius charging method is no better than a $20 battery tender, which runs about the same current and voltage
    • It blows fuses while just charging, doesn’t jump start (power supply)
    • An "automatic" charger needs to be able to accurately determine the battery voltage (state of charge) in order to apply the correct charging rate i.e. Bulk chg
    • You do not need a second car to jump start.10 amps is still in the “safe range” for slow charging and less likely to damage the battery
    • These are by far the best charging units!
    • The "Charge LED" progresses from red to green in about two hours from a fully discharged state, and finally switches to pulsing only green while it "top's off" for another few hours
    • I haven’t drive my car enough to charge the battery so the battery keep dying after every few days, after fully charged, I have no issue so far, great product!
    • This is a false claim as smaller motorcycle or power sport batteries should be usually charged at nothing higher than 3 Amps
    • Having this now, I’m not worried about coming to my garage and seeing a dome light on in the car and hoping I have just enough charge to turn car over to start.
    • (I have a different device that instantly shows correct charge level, unlike this)
    • For being a "smart" device, it's more like a smart A$$
    • Works as it should and having standard connectors to all of my batteries even better.
