The doors feel more solid, and the roof won’t sound like a tin roof in the rain

Returned home and installed new carpet with mass backing, center console, front and rear passenger seats, and measured again on the same stretch of road and same conditions of soft top and doors with blower on 3rd highest setting.

The doors are so much quieter now that I have a sensation my car got slower because I am not getting as much audible feedback of wind, road, engine, exhaust, tire noise

Had soft top on with all windows on and closed as well as full steel doors with windows up.

Just doing one door made a big improvement

Three boxes was the perfect amount for my Grand Cherokee doing the entire interior including inside of outer door skin and all solid inner door steel

On the doors, I opted to do the inside of the outer door skin as well as the inside as the inner door skin

The other pro is that my doors sound solid when closing.

So easy to cut and install even in difficult interior door compartment.

The doors of my Tacoma sound like a BMW when they shut...very solid.

In short, I spent more time removing and cleaning the door than I did applying the deadening material.

The end result sound of the door went from a very hollow metal sound to a VERY satisfying full door sound.
