It looked great, but the hinge broke the first time I used it and it won't close.

It's probably better for someone like me who doesn't care for runny eggs, although you could fine-tune the time in the microwave to have them that way.

Recommend experimenting for your microwave..my eggs come out perfect every time just salt/pepper add a drop of water in each egg, close and put in microwave for about 45 seconds..
