Why would you design a heavy steel shelf for a small camera that may weigh one pound, and a flimsy plastic shelf to support all the audio/video equipment just below the TV?

Everything else was made very well and out of metal, so why cheap plastic for this.

The entire unit is solid, good screws, the top shelf is metal, but yet the mid shelf is cheap plastic

Stand is metal along with the top shelf yet the bottom shelf looks like cheap plastic and is noticeable different from rest of stand.

vertical tubes wobble a bit, AV tray is cheap plastic, other than that, pretty well made.

Needs rubber wheels not hard plastic.

In theory, if everything works as it should, you should be able to raise and lower the tv with everything assembled and the tv mounted

Professional quality, well built, I use it in my classroom as well as when I'm doing presentations on the road.

sturdy and very easily moveable as it is not heavy so they can lift it outside without much effort.
