The Novation Carry Case does a great job protecting my keyboard and has enough pockets and places to squirrel stuff away, so I managed to get rid of my gadget bag as well

Doesn't completely fit underneath the seat in front of you on an airline but you can still get away with carrying on your precious keyboard 25 note controller and laptop.
