Novation Impulse 25 USB Midi Controller Keyboard, 25 Keys

    • The midi music world is to big for any smart midi app
    • However, a MIDI controller with the keybed, like this, allows for easy transportation and setup
    • As a straightforward Midi controller, it is of course fine, and as useful as your own programming skills allow
    • Works well midi to garage band for sound library.
    • This is one of the better midi controller keyboards on the market
    • AMAZING midi keyboard.
    • So, I've tried the Alesis Vi62, Mpk249, Max49 and this Novation impulse to find the best midi controller for me
    • I was trying to decide between this and the Launchkey for a fairly cheap MIDI controller with some neat features
    • A high quality MIDI controller that works well with Sonar
    • but I'd rather pay more to have usable midi controller.
    • I also find the single MIDI in and out ports to be a little restrictive too: two MIDI outs would have been nice
    • Secondly, the power provided to the MIDI DIN ports is insufficient to power some bus powered devices (such as my 4x midi thru); in contrast my synths with AC adapters do
    • Guys, I've scowered the internet, and my local guitar center, in search for the perfect MIDI controller
    • Not sure if it's consequence of software, but when alternating the sustain pedal in music, stuck notes are a common occurence, which sometimes require a midi panic/reset.
    • Overall, a great midi controller.
    • This thing will not work with the newest version of Ableton Live for me, will not work with Reaper or FL Studio 11.It's very disappointing to shell out almost $300 on a midi controller that doesn't work with any of your production software
    • I believe the Impulse 49 is a great Midi Controller
