PROS----- no creaking sound from the joints- great bass

The bass is not excessive, it is simply more clearly defined than with any other phones I've used

The highs, lows and mids are pretty good, especially the bass; it's pretty tight

well..its sounds little better than numarks redwave,not too much bass like the redwave..sounds a little balance in overall tone..but the big dissapointment is when you wear it..looks horrible on my head,,i like the redwave or pioneers hdj series that it is flush around the top of your ear..this one is like your wearing a pilots headphone

but I took the chance and purchased a pair of these and the sound is excellent the bass is great without being overpowering and the building quality is excellent

The Electrowave's are extremely comfortable and do an excellent job of reproducing the audio from the sources I'm listening to

They do a pretty fair job of muffling ambient sounds and a good job of picking up the highs, lows, and midrange of musical instruments and vocals

The muffs are made of very soft felt and are very comfortable; as my daughter stated "It's like a pillow for your ears

The ear cushions are a very comfortable felt-type material (not the pleather ones), and they also rotate so you can orient them to your ears as best as possible.

The product has a good build and looks nice

Also very sturdy and well built; made to take a beating

Numark has really tuned these cans well

I used to have a pair of over ear Hitachi active noise canceling headphones, as well as a pair of on ear JVC's

So coming from that crappy pair, I might be rating the Numark Electrowave higher than I should be, but the thing is that the Electrowave sounds like heaven on my ears, and are super comfortable when wearing for extended periods
