if you want to be able to press your feet against a solid, unmoving surface you may want to read other reviews or the product description to see if that's possible (sorry for not being more helpful!), but if you're a fidgeter like me, this footrest is fantastic

It doesn't grip to the floor as well as I'd like, and if I put the wrong pressure it will slip, which I think is annoying
