He was already taking plain glucosamine + MSM due to a previous injury on a different leg, but the second vet recommended these treats because they some additional ingredients

They aren't as good as treats since he doesn't eat them

They’re soft and smell like normal dog treats

It is important to know that at least with my bag, these treats were not very soft
