The hype is real and the developers need support for the great job they did here

Gameplay is a lot of fun, the graphics are gorgeous, Voice Actors do a great job, and music is beautiful

Overall, SE did a fantastic job of releasing a wonderful game and with the reception it's getting, here is hoping Square brings out more games like this exclusively to Nintendo.

While not the original, this game takes that mold and does a phenomenal job of modernizing it

In fact, I will say that Octopath Traveler has one of my favorite job and battle systems to date!One of the points of contention that some people have about the game is that the encounter rate is too high, but I felt that it’s appropriate given the sizes of the dungeons in the game

They did a good job on this game you can tell it’s a labor of love.

The battle system feels great and there's a lot of variety to play experiment with due to the job system and skills
