Gorgeous graphics and a great combat system
-
Very solid and interesting battling system, and once you get into the other chapters of the 8 different characters you will most likely find yourself very invested and interested in seeing how their stories play out.
-
This game is made for a specific group of people: Gamers who enjoy an in depth combat system and a nostalgic Final Fantasy aesthetic
-
Octopath Traveler is a great game, and I would absolutely recommend it to any JRPG fans that enjoy a dynamic and rewarding combat system
-
This mix of figuring out enemy weak points, blended with the Boost Point system and the new Shield Break system, creates a battle flow that is quite unique in the genre, and put to rest my fears that these systems would feel more tedious than fun
-
Its stellar progression system, its crafty battle tweaks, and the stories told in this anthology are perfect for gaming on-the-go or for sitting infront of your couch, and its design and gameplay are so elegant that it complements the platform its on really well.

I haven't played the game for long, however, I personally love the combat system, the story is solid, and the art for it is beautiful as well
-
Of course there is very little interaction between the characters, and in this regard the game is very similar to Saga Frontier games - only this game has an excellent battle system
-
Great game with engaging characters, a complex battle system and fun story.
-
Beautiful graphics, EXCELLENT combat and job system
-
Best battle system in a final fantasy like game I've seen yet.
-
n’t compare it to anything, but I like the combat system
-
Beautiful graphics, captivating stories, fantastic and addicting battle system -- what's not to love
-
Solid battle system.
-
I love the turn-based system which allows more strategy and doesn't give you the pressure of always having to "act" all the time
-
OPT is a beautiful game with great stories and an amazing battle system that old and new players will appreciate.
-
Rogue & Noble system - This system is extremely superficial offering no moral benefit
