i ended up returning it for safety reasons and purchased Floortex Unomat Polycarbonate Anti-Slip Mat for Hard Floors and Very low Pile carpets

The fact that this goes over a nicely carpeted floor and is supposed to look professional in a professional office, only to be marred by irremovable parts of white labels and glue residue from the ones you can get off

Grippers seem to be just right to hold mat in place but not damage the carpet underneath.
