I ordered this mat because we have a built-in desk in our pantry area that is a weird size and in an odd location.

I was expecting a cheap, flimsy chair mat, but I was wrong

It is walked on every day as well as having a chair on it.

The mat is heavy enough to support the chair and occupant without issue

This chair mat was brittle when I got it and as soon as I started using it, cracked into tiny pieces

and I have to stand up and wrestle my chair back onto the mat.

Other than that it does what it supposed to do protect the floor.

I was worried about buying this chair mat because this was the first one I've bought for a hardwood floor

These are nice hard mats; your chair wheels won't sink into these like a Vinyl or PVC mat

The mat has cracked in multiple places after 3 weeks of use

This is hard plastic and has a kind of smooth but sticky feel on the rolling surface.

Using a razor blade on soft plastic is practically impossible too

There was absolutely no scent like some plastic can smell

so it wasn't all rolled up and wrinkled and no strong plastic smell.

However, this is a hard plastic and it eventually cracked on my tile floor.

But.... as another buyer noticed, the sticky labels just won't come off cleanly, despite razor, detergent or alcohol.....

Item was covered in big sticky labels that were almost impossible to remove.

The only problem I had was removing the sticky label and residue from the product.

Other than that my only complaint is all of the stickers (each had 2 or 3) and the tape leaving a sticky mess behind.

Could not get the clear tape that was used for shipping purposes off the mat (not even with an exacto knife).

If it were a problem for me I'd put some double-sided clear tape on the bottom (or a loop of single-sided clear tape).

I do not know if it packaged by the manufacturer or the shipper, but the cheap tape they used to hold the rolled up mat was terrible

The only issue i have is that the shipper rolled it up and used clear plastic packing tape on the smooth side

Took me 25 minutes with a razor and goof-off to remove the stickers and clean the mat

If you're going to sell a CLEAR mat, please make sure there isn't cheap stickers on it.
