Probably works fairly well on hard wood floors...

This is not a clear floor protector as described and by listing photo.

Although the size is true, it sticks out like a sore thumb on my hard floors.

Personally, I would have rather gotten rid of the dogs but this mat is doing a decent job of keeping the floors protected
