Maybe the battery needs replacement, but in bright light the "solar" panel should provide enough power even with no battery power; mine doesn't

I love the solar power, if the battery goes eventually I can still use this, a perfect paring with my other pink office accessories!

The solar power on mine doesn't seem to work very well as the numbers barely show up.
