Official Nintendo White Classic Gamecube Controller

    • Very good first party controller.
    • I suppose if you only plan on playing puzzle games on the gamecube you can use a cheap third-party controller
    • Everyone recommended to just get the nintendo controller because third party ones aren't even worth it
    • Any 3rd party, knock-offs are terrible.
    • Bottom Line: Don't waste your time buying other cheap third party controllers
    • Trying to search for good 3rd party controllers roughly 6+ years after the fact is HARD
    • I wanted the authentic right-out-of-the-box thing rather than those cheap 3RD party Knockoffs that break easily
    • I have a friend who always uses this cheap third-party controller, and then complains when it doesn't work
    • Though the less expensive 3rd party controllers may appeal to the frugal shopper in all of us, those 3rd party controllers have always come broken or end up broken in a week for me-this is the one you want.
    • Absolutely exceeded my expectations after buying cheap third party controllers whose control sticks broke after two weeks
    • parties and it works like a charm
    • Being there is an currently available alternative to the Japanese white controller, the cheapo 3rd party ones are so not worth it anymore.
    • If you want to play smash brothers or any action game that requires fast ergonomic inputs PLEASE do not waste your time with cheaper 3rd party controllers they really suck in comparison to the real thing(gross analog stick feel, cheap and ugly plastics, stiff triggers and weightless c-stick).
    • Don't be cheap, go first party, and enjoy one of the best controllers ever.
    • Spend the extra $5-10 and buy a good, long-lasting first-party controller
    • Much more worth buying this than 4 3rd party controllers that'll break in a week.
    • All in all this one is a no brainier, If you are in the market for a Gamecube Controller given the price of those horrible third party knockoffs and the fact that Nintendo themselves doesn't offer anyone outside of Japan ANYTHING better then this (In fact what they offer is actually worse
    • Many of the reviews I read for similar products turned out to be cheap third party versions that didn't feel right or last very long
    • Buying the genuine article is the best value in the long run, because a cheaper 3rd party controller may last you a few months, but the official contollers will last you for years and years.
    • So I had high hopes I would be getting an official controller, not a knock-off or 3rd party imitation
    • After going through many shoddy 3rd party ones that would go completely within a year, or have your guy stray left when the joystick is not turning left, I said "what would hurt if $30 went to an official controller" and thus ended up with this for Christmas
    • This controller is absolutely the same sturdy, responsive, ergonomic first party controller that you got with your Gamecube, with the single exception being a longer cord, (which is definitely a useful improvement)
    • (That's the price for official controllers, I don't mess with crummy third-party controllers)
    • The controller is extremely solid, works as it should, and has a great length of wire.
    • Longer wire than earlier GC controllers, they play great (I use them for Melee as well as for casual games), and they last a long time.
    • It works exactly as it's supposed to, so I'm pleased with it.
    • Works as it should and the extra long cable is welcomed heavily.
    • The Original gamecube controller, works fine, but the L and R trigger and not like the old ones
