The disks stopped working to fast

First disk died after three years of operation and the 2nd drive failed 5 months later.

Running ChkDsk /r gives me "Insufficient disk space to fix the USN Journal $J data stream".

Windows - HOWEVER, I was still able to slowly image copy the entire bad disk to this new one - all the data 100% in tact!

Had to create a VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) and format using NTFS in order to configure the backup job

to my surprise a disk clean up and defragmentation quieted it down for a few days but after it make the sound again and this time is was louder

If your "hard disk" (not solid state) drives are over 5 years old, get a replacement before it's too late

Do not buy used hard disk.

Hard disk drive was dead on arrival and did not spin.

Date of manufacture for the disk is 2012 which means that the drive is pretty old and it is out of warranty (checked it on Seagate website).Simply, consider other (preferable newer) disk drives instead of this one.
