The ST3000DM001 seagate hard drive is a ticking bomb, it will fail period

Here are some key things, loud in normal machines, super hot, Seagate is sketchy

I usually get Seagate hard drives, I don't have that big of an issue with them, but I would like to know that any issue I have would be covered under the 2 year warranty mention; however, when I ordered two of them, both hard drives were expired by two years

Seagate seemed indifferent to all the problems, and after using Western Digital for years, I will not buy another Seagate drive.

I used a WD Blue 1TB for 3 years without a single issue and the first Seagate I buy dies in less than 2 months and the second one doesn't even work at all.

2T is a lot of data and works well for me
