've never heard on that sounded as loud and annoying with a weird clicking sound.

It works fine and I cannot hear any excessive sound as data is being read/write and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a 1TB hard drive storage for a camera system.

Extremely noisy, sounds very sick and not like a normal hard drive

I thought my old drive was failing because of the noise but this one sounds almost as bad.

Prior to this drive, this PC only had an SSD in it, so after installing this drive, I was able to hear some audible drive sounds.

Continues buzzing/humming sound when the drive is idle

The random clicking sounds are an annoyance

They both produce a weird buzzing sound

But I plugged it on anyways and it made a horrific sound.

It started making terrible sounds before it stopped responding and was eventually undetectable by the bios

It's the ominous clicking sound in all instances.

After a day the drive started making a very horrible loud buzzing sound and Windows would no longer recognize it.

Oh thou pile O crap

It is recognized by Windows Device Manager but Disk Management can't do anything because of an i/o error
