If you get it in just right it will work as I had hoped but a slight turn of your head will easily bump the cord ever so slightly and ruin the audio connection again.

Ordered a similar cord from the Google store and worked fine, so not user error.

Upon receiving, both cords were tested and one of them did not work.

This cord is working just like my current cord which is years old and from being bent so many times at the part being inserted is “stripped” internally
