The battery is extremely bad.

It just has to sit there until the internal battery of the camera goes dead and it resets

I bout this camera one year ago, the battery is terrible, it even cannot last 2 minute

Works great but will drain the car battery if left too long without running car.

I had high hopes for this dash cam and for the first few weeks I was happy with the performance even if the battery was totally dead right from the start [Perhaps it has no battery installed as when I stop the power to it the camera stops in a split second]

Cons: I wish the cam could have a better battery life and SD card adapter doesn't fit

I purchased this dash cam and the battery is dead within seconds of using it.

Everything worked as it should, but then the suction cup stopped working after three weeks

It gets hot and sunny, but not nearly as bad as out west and in the desert

Several small glitches during setup and the "owners manual" is poorly translated and inaccurate as to the unit's controls and indicator lights

garbage the charger port broke almost as soon as I tried to charge it and now the thing no longer can charge
