Only downside is the suction cup

The suction cup really does suck!

Now the suction cup is broken.

But the "suction cup" doesnt suck

They replaced it with a better non-suction cup holder

Suction cup is excellent .BUT, the 2 LEDs should be on the bottom left corner where you can see them and not in the top left corner behind the mirror .AND, the Display On-Off and the Ok switches should be reversed so the On-Off in in the lower left corner and not up behind the mirror .

My only falt is the suction cup comes loose when I park it into the sun with the sunshade up.

you can playback any video right away on it's screen with clear view.even though windshield suction cup is real nice, you can get their rearview mirror mounting kit separately on amazon for this camera which is also very simple to use

However, I purchased a different kit that mounts to the rear view mirror so the suction cup won't be an issue

Recently suction cup of Windshield Mount got loose and was broken when it fell off.

The only drawback to this item is the suction cup, which can get loose in hot weather.

Suction cup issue: 6 times out of 10 when I try to lock the camera in place on my windshield it ends up falling off onto the dashboard

Camera dropped from the windshield multiple times due to bad suction cup connection, but had no issues.

I only have 2 big issues with this camera-- the suction cup and the fact that I nearly burn myself touching it after it's been plugged in for more than 30 minutes

I have been using this dash cam for about a month, I did end up buying a different mount because I was worried about the suction cup heating up and dropping the camera, however, the suction cup did seem to work just fine

Last month the suction cup came loose from the plastic windshield mount

The suction cup is not great - I placed some clear packing tape over the suction cup and onto the windshield (under the clamp) for added stability in case the suction lets go.

The suction cup doesn't work well in cold weather.

The suction cup melted and broke, and so did the lens.

Christmas gift to myself, great quality video, records audio inside vehicle if you like, just have to play with it to understand it, set up easy, wiring easy and well hid, suction cup has held in upper Ohio at minus 5' no issues, easy to down load to computer and comes with a flash drive also, Old shark answered my question with in 48 hours via email, nice price for peace of mind, would buy again...

The suction cup is working good

It works great, good clear videos, lots of recording time, small profile when mounted near rear view mirror - (easy using the suction cup), reasonable price, 18 month warranty, customer service is good (I send emails), plus - they will send you another 32GB micro card FREE for doing this review!It does take some time to learn all the ways to set it up - using all the buttons, and programing all the options in the Menu screen

The suction cup is sturdy and it really stay in place

It works well and instructions are easily understood, but what annoys me is the suction cup

I'' eager to use it but I open the box up and the usb micro reader is in the box but the Micro SD memory card is missing - not in the camera or the usb reader
