Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 45mm f1.8 (Silver) Lens for Micro 4/3 Cameras - International Version (No Warranty)

    • Decent auto focus
    • It also works extremely well for video and doesn't make an awkward focusing sound like the 17mm 1.8.Only downside for me is that it's not image stabilized, which hurts on the G7
    • Super sharp across the frame, contrasty and fast focusing
    • Creamy background blur with really sharp focussed points.
    • Very, very fast auto focus in decent light, which is typical of Olympus glass; it can search quite a bit in dim lighting, say a club
    • Though many old 35mm primes can give very good pictures, manual focus is tricky - even with the GX-7's excellent focus peaking
    • very sharp image and very fast focus
    • It brings new life to my photos and has quick focusing in autofocus, smooth manual focus and solid feel
    • It has fast auto focus, is small and light weight, good in low light
    • Gripping the barrel of those lenses yields responsive focus pulls that I can dial-in instantly
    • Focus is fast, though there is some hunting in low light or moving subjects
    • Though many old 35mm primes can give very good pictures, manual focus is tricky - even with the GX-7's excellent focus peaking
    • Fast focus and sharp as razors.
    • It also works extremely well for video and doesn't make an awkward focusing sound like the 17mm 1.8.Only downside for me is that it's not image stabilized, which hurts on the G7
    • super sharp, fast focusing, super fast.very nice moderate telephoto length, useful for both the portraits, product photos and low-light situations like concerts or museums when you want to isolate one subject.
    • Super fast focusing.
