I have a fairly thick leather case to protect my phone as well, yet the first time this phone hit the ground literally every bit of glass broke

My fiancé dropped his home and the tempered glass broke but his phone was completely fine

and maybe one week later I drop my phone and not only did the protection glass break but also my screen on my phone

Fell 3 feet and the glass broke

First one worked good though , I was confused as to why it cracked

The screen is just as sharp as it is without the protection
