On-Stage MS7701B Tripod Microphone Boom Stand

    • The stand feels like it locks in, but even though i've cranked it down as hard as I can, the main boom has no way to solidly lock in such as interlocking teeth, and even when held close to the stand it will slowly fall down over the course of 10-15 minutes
    • But, Iwould recommend it to those who need a good inexpensive mic boom.
    • Both the boom and the stand itself are scratched and nicked from rubbing against other.
    • Either the junk metal threads strip or the legs break or the the clamp that adjust the boom strips or some placstic piece breaks or something else.

    • This boom is excellent!
    • The boom on which mic is attached has to be inline with one of the legs or it will fall on you.

    • The base has a small circumference, so you can't stick the boom out very far at all, almost useless
    • All around great boom stand for the price, do not hesitate if you are thinking about buying this one.
    • Boom stand works well, but isn't quite sturdy enough to hold my blue yeti pro microphone, unfortunately
    • Put the arm facing all the way up so that the stand is completely straight, buy the On Stage Microphone Stand Arm, and screw it on to the top of the stand, and then you'll have yourself a nice, long, and sturdy boom stand
    • I bought extra mic clips, as I have had them break before, so they fit securely on the boom, I am very happy with this and recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive boom for there mic stand
    • It's like getting the Boom for nearly nothing
    • Excellent boom stand!
    • This is a great little boom stand for a shotgun microphone
    • For acoustic guitar, the boom works great and there's not much of a problem with the weight balance
    • I have to always make sure the boom is in-line with one of the 3 legs just so it will support a mic and cable
    • Some of these less-expensive boom poles need to be tightened very tight for them not to slip, this one seems to hold up better than most!
    • This is a very good quality boom stand
    • The Boom & Stand work great for me
    • Given the threading width is standard, I'm not sure what the problem is for other Yeti owners, but I suspect they received poorly machined tripod booms.
    • I'm only giving it 4 stars because there isn't enough counter weight to make most of the boom poll useful.
    • Good basic boom mic stand.
    • This is a perfectly good boom mic stand for a home studio like mine where all it has to do is hold a sm47 close to the front of a speaker cab.

    • For an extra $6, I got a well made, sturdy, heavy boom mic stand
    • and if you don't tighten it to the point of hurting your hand, the boom will slowly sink lower over time as its just a vice clamp system
    • Good generic boom mic stand.
    • Professionals are willing to shell out hundreds and hundreds for proper stands, but I think that the On Stage Stands Boom is amazing for the price you pay
    • I see half of this stand as being just fine but the boom is not very good
    • This is a great boom stand
    • I like the relatively long boom.
    • If you have the boom stand bended like in the picture and have a super heavy mic like mine then over time the boom might lower BARELY, but don't worry you have to tightin it very very hard if you don't want that to happen
    • Good boom stands

    • Good, economical boom mic stands
