I did the double-upside-down-V, where I boost bass (mid-bass being boosted the most) and treble (mid-treble boosted the most), which to me, sounds the best for rock or jazz.

It really is LOUD and the sound quality is very crisp with decent bass response

Good volume for it's size, bass is good for a small speaker, of course it can't compete with a large speaker or sub-woofer, but all in all very good.

While this will decrease your overall headroom, I found this setting to substantially improve the sound of the Angle 3 by muting the harsh upper midrange frequencies & leaving you with a nice "hi-fi" bass & treble boost.
