Here is a thing that nobody will have an idea of how much we talk loud about Oppo BDP 103, you have to experience it by itself to know how amazing Oppo products are, my friends think I have wasted my $500 because for them Blu ray player are as good as you get in Walmart:) but this is not Walmart product in fact it is a bench mark of quality

I can not say more, it is a very cheap product considering the construction quality, performance, etc

Thank God I decided to splurge a little and get it... no more headaches dealing with inferior products.

(not at all common nowadays to get so many good reviews), i decided to go for it...from packaging to performance, detailed manual, great remote and on screen menu paired up with those accessories that everybody seems to "forget" nowadays (hate to buy products worth lots of money and then have to run out to the store to buy a "stupid" cable since the manufacturer thought it was "too much to include it in the box

When you look at the lengthy list of updates listed in Oppo forums, it is obvious that the folks at Oppo are not addressing mountains of serious issues, but continually improving the product with subtle fine tuning and tweaking

This Universal Player comes at a high price but you won`t get a better display until you reach the Oppo BDP-105, that will only be necessary if you are really into analogue-hifi-audiophile sound, since it has a better DAC and balanced XLR connectors that are only available on high end, extremely expensive equipments

If you have a good TV, you won`t notice any picture quality improvement.
