    • For the price and the thing that this does and as big as it is it is really overrated you don't need it you really don't get a good Blu ray
    • It's a big mistake to think of it as an expensive blu ray player as it is a truly Universal disc player and Computer to maximize your audio and video inputs Automatically

    • The Oppo BDP-103 is an Amazing Blu-ray Player it gets my highest 5 star recommendation, not just for the blu-ray player which I've only played a few times but because

    • Excellent Blu-Ray player
    • When you compare it with more expensive high end Blue Ray Players it is clearly a very good value
    • Yes, the cost of the OPPO is significantly higher: but it seems to me we were lulled into thinking that because of the improved quality of the Blu-ray format over DVD that we wouldn't notice the irritating quirks of the (much) less than perfect Blu-ray hardware when it first came out

    • The Oppo 103 is a great blue ray player
    • obviously one must keep the lens clean, and the discs clean. be sure to use a cleaner disc specifically for blu ray lens clean, and only use that cleaner disc on blu ray equipment. follow these
    • With some Blu-Ray discs (like Avatar) the level of detail produced by this player is hyper-realistic

    • Great high end Blue Ray player.
    • I have the BDP-33FD, my worst Blue Ray player, for sound and video
    • After viewing them and chuckling to myself I couldn't help but write this review in an attempt to highlight that since Oppo makes the most expensive 3D blu-ray player available on amazon(i've checked), and since this unit is of itself so much more expensive than other typical 3D blu-ray players available on amazon; Why on earth wouldn't the company use only solid capacitors on the circuit board
    • The OPPO is the best Blu-ray I've ever owned.
    • An amazing Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player!

    • Pioneer Elite Blue Ray player was the worst value I bought in audio and video, I never thought a company like Pioneer could charge a so high price for so low quality product
    • It's a smart device with both wired and wireless networking, with the ability to connect to a lengthy list of online services as well as to any local DLNA-compliant media library, and it even has a smartphone app available to let you use your smartphone as a remote for it
    • I wish it had 2k/4k support on the HDMI ports as well as having some more audio processing effects for only 2channel sources.
    • I smiled as it reminded me of the early 80's when my mother and I bought my father his first "audiophile" setup from Pacific Audio in Marin.
    • so I knew the sound would improve as it had neither of the lossless codecs.)
    • I had never tried it on my other blu-ray players, so there wasn't even a hi-def conversion point of reference--it looked just a crappy as it did on DVD players with SD TVs.
    • It really blew me away as to quality and performance
    • but if i was pressed to chose i would go with the 103 as far as 3d goes it also has two hdmi inputs picture quality there both as good as it gets the sound on cds the 103 and the 93 are hard to tell apart but my brother and i felt the 103 had a hair more detail over the93 in the deep
