    OPPO BDP-93 Universal Network 3D Blu-ray Disc Player

    • The Oppo is well built, was very reliable and excellent AQ and PQ
    • Unboxing the Oppo was fun, because I immediately knew that this was one well built unit and very heavy duty.
    • Several nice extras, good build quality, nice looking,
    • The player looks very well built and materials are good quality.
    • It does look good, and it is well built,but that is about it
    • As a matter of personal preference, I always liked heavy, well-built gear (One reason I liked the BD-7004)
    • The unit is also extremely solid and well-built; it's made of metal and feels like a tank

    • At the Oppo-93 I tried the built in You Tube support and that worked on first attempt
    • While it is a superb Blu-ray/DVD player (picture quality, solid build, intuitive remote), it falls short as a quality CD player because:- Sound quality (from CD) is just okay.
    • It is well built,heavy and the remote is very durable

    • Oppo, however, is one of the few manufacturers that make well-built Blu-ray players that also handle these audiophile formats without getting into the crazy money of high-end audio boutique manufacturers' players, and Oppo's manual and after-sales support is pretty good
    • The disk tray is less stable,it is has an inferior build quality, and the ability to scan back through full chapters is amiss
    • Not the cheapest out there, but well built and a solid value
    • Don't get me wrong, those players were solid and well built.

    • The build of the BDP93 is solid, it just says High End Component
    • This makes the player a 95 out of 100, but that 95 is a wonderfully sounding extremely versatile hi-quality build and feel
    • Also features an RJ45 as well as WiFi, with an included driverless USB WiFi adapter and a dongle to mount the adapter on top of your entertainment center for better reception.- Netflix, Vudu, Film Fresh and others built in
    • Other than that, I give this unit 5 stars because of its high quality in build, great remote, and easy set up and 2 HDMI outputs
    • As other reviewers have mentioned repeatedly, this is a solid, well-built unit - even the remote has a nice solid feel.
    • A Blu-Ray player with top-notch performance, good support/customer service, and a rock-solid build that feels like it will still be working in 30 years
