OPPO BDP-93 Universal Network 3D Blu-ray Disc Player

    • Though is has a couple nice little features and gets the job done
    • Both the Oppo and LG have slow speed and zoom features that work well, especially if you hate the black bars on movies as I do.
    • Having some other kind of on-screen background choice while music discs are playing, whether it be different wallpapers or to be able to stream the above mentioned PC images on video while an audio disc is playing would be a GREAT feature to add as well
    • Great new features
    • The number of available options / customization features on the OPPO is way beyond what you expect with a Blu-ray player.
    • The Sony has a very good range and macro features
    • Problem Marantz SR 8002.In comes one of my favorite features of the Oppo-93
    • The best feature is you can cue up a preview on one unit and cue up your feature on the second unit.
    • It's a very helpful feature to have under certain circumstances.- And finally, OPPO has finally gone wireless
    • This device can also pass DSD over HDMI, which is a nice feature, so I was able to test sending DSD straight to my receiver and letting it decode using its also-excellent onboard DACs (my Yamaha can handle DSD), which sounded great
    • The other features are a little less great, mostly as they relate to internet access
    • Wow what a great feature, almost foolproof upgrades and the machine does all the work
    • This is an excellent machine with a lot of great features on it.
    • The picture is excellent, the features are superb and the quality is beyond compare.
    • This model adds 2 important features: (1) Wireless connectivity and (2) 3D functionality.
    • Love the features, the upscaling, and the picture
    • One of the greatest features on the Oppo BDP-93 is the HDMI output jacks.
    • In conclusion, the most important feature on any Blu-Ray player is picture quality and the OPPO BDP-93 certainly delivers
    • However the real nice feature of either playing a movie from a usb drive or streamed over my network is to me its best feature
    • Both the Oppo and LG have slow speed and zoom features that work well, especially if you hate the black bars on movies as I do.
    • New to this model are exciting features such as 4k video up-scaling, 2D to 3D conversion, dual HDMI inputs and MHL compatibility
    • If the room is not well lit, these little features can be a little hard to find.
    • , I like this feature
    • (These work on components which have a screw above or below the HDMI connector, which includes the BDP-93, and do a good job of holding my relatively heavy HDMI cables in place). The latest firmware release for the player (9/26) adds new features such as YouTube and Pandora
    • have owned for almost a yr, works great love all the features, looked up all the reviews and did my home
    • I hear no audio improvement using this feature so I typically turn off my display when not needed.
    • Everything works as it should.
    • Streaming Netflix does not look as good as on my PC, but on all Netflix enabled devices I have tried it never does, so not an issue for me
    • I have tried this a few times last night and as bizarre as that might seem, using the remote to open and close the loading tray causes no delay whatsoever
    • Just before the movie presents the "Star Trek" title, there's a fadeout which glowed as it would on a movie screen
    • the buttons work exactly as they should, and they don't light up
    • The Oppo upscales standard definition DVD's to appear as good as some B-R disks on my old Sony
