The only downside that I have is that my Receiver is not able to take full advantage of the Oppo because Marantz stopped decoding DSD of SACD disc on their newer receivers so I am stuck with lack luster 88khz sound from LPCM

Perhaps the lack of 24Hz DVD support would be the only technical drawback I could identify in this player, and I doubt many people will care about that (24Hz works fine for Blu-Rays, and 24Hz has been known to make some DVDs look worse!).
