OPPO BDP-93 Universal Network 3D Blu-ray Disc Player

    • Went in menu and set priority to hdmi 1 to supposedly link this new qedeo video chip for best video output..
    • In addition, I would stress that playing a disc on the Oppo 93 produces easily noticeable, very high quality audio and video - as another reviewer indicated, "Truly impressive audio and video".
    • The video is almost unreal and audio is lossless
    • Video on my plasma and projection units are vivid and rock-steady, and although I don't do lots of 3D, what I've seen so far is quite impressive
    • The unit did what it was supposed to do and the video and sound were good but not great
    • Anyone who is remotely serious about audio and/or video who enjoys watching Blu-Ray / DVD / Streaming Video and listening to SACD / DVD-Audio / CD should seriously consider purchasing the Oppo BD-93.There is simply nothing better on the market that exists at this time that compares to the Oppo that offers as much in the way of playback of multiple
    • It may have superior audio but the video is no better than the Pioneer in my view.
    • You're getting three outstanding products with Oppo; A great video and music player, and second to none customer support
    • and the DVD Upscale using the DNR and Sharpness Settings was also OMG!Hands down the best video ouput I have seen for upscaled DVD's
    • Engineers and marketing people of the day thought that the 16 bit "wav" file system would exceed what the human ear can actually pick up on and recognize as an audio sound signal and the video was better than any TV at the time
    • I am now watching Jurrasic Park 2 and the video is splendid and the sound is well defined, much better than presented by my 981.I have now watched (Open Range) and (The First Knight) with the Oppo
    • Obviously these movies are heavily compressed due to internet bandwidth limitations, and the overall quality is not as good as a DVD, but again, the OPPO-93 did an amazing job of processing the video data to the extent that the video was enjoyable to view
    • Produces great video and sound.
    • My current system consists of a JVC HD350 projector(with excellent video capabilities, 106" Dalite screen, Pioneer SC-07 receiver,Rotel RMB 1095 5 channel power amp, and Klipsch Chorus II front speakers and Klipsch reference series center and surround speakers
    • You will have an entertaining device that appreciates in retail value with time with the added benefit of the best video and audio production it will give you
    • The video and audio were so spectacular, I thought I had a new HD display and surround sound system
    • Video in 1080p is crazy clear
    • Wow, top notch video and sound that are noticably ahead of the competition
    • Video is just fantastic and the load times are fast.
    • I haven't streamed video yet from the Internet, but Pandora works like a charm
    • As all the other reviews atest to: It is definitely an impressive device Great video and audio capabilities
    • Some upscaled video from DVD is truly astounding, coming very close to HD
    • THE VIDEO AND AUDEO ARE THE BEST
    • If you need a reliable 3D/Blu-ray player with great audio and video, even on DVD, buy a Panasonic.
    • The Video seems a little sharper on DVD's too, I haven't really noticed any BD picture quality improvements
    • However, the Oppo gives a new meaining to blue ray with its excellent video play.
    • Video is great although I'm more an audio buff than video, I'll leave the video to someone else
    • If you want to enjoy best quality video and audio just buy oppo
    • Great video player
    • The video looks as if it glows from within
    • The Component Video out is crippled to 480i/480p resolution
    • If you are looking for a great A/V player to add to a high end receiver and tv look NO further!
    • In fact it's probably the best A/V product I have bought in the past 15 years.
