OPPO UDP-203 Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Player

    • Delivers performance, quality as per the brand's reputation
    • I have absolutely no regrets buying quality which by far continues to exceed expectations.
    • When I buy stuff, especially electronics, I go after the best quality value
    • Built like a tank with every sound and video connectivity an AV enthusiast requires, the unparalleled picture quality brings a level of satisfaction that leaves one grinning from ear to ear every time its powered on.
    • I use good quality cables and I heard others have the same problem
    • Oppo Build quality is exceptional
    • The audio and video quality is outstanding
    • The quality and performance is outstanding!
    • The 203 has the same widely lauded build quality Oppo is known for
    • The picture quality is crystal clear, the colors are gorgeous and the sound quality is expansive.
    • All facets of this product are remarkable, from the initial customer-experience of opening the exceptionally well-engineered box, to the obvious rock-solid build-quality, user-friendly documentation, straight-forward setup/install, and ease-of-use
    • The Oppo supports the most current audio formats as well and the sound quality is equally impressive
    • My focus was mostly on good quality audio, and the difference was extraordinary
    • Note that this player is available from non Amazon sellers at list price (549.99).On the positive side, nice auto lighting remote, interesting feature to turn HDR on or off on UHD discs, and solid build quality
    • That being said......fantastic sound quality!
    • We already had an oppo for 3D which we really liked and this one is even better quality!!
    • I will say also in response to the argument about how even ordinary products in the old days lasted a long time compared to today's merchandise, as if implying that today's stuff is therefore of inferior quality that there is a bogus argument embedded there in that the electronic circuitry of today is generally more fragile than the durable mechanical constructions of the 1930s,'40s, '50's, and even '60s, and it is this plus the rapid pace of technological advancement rather than 'planned obsolescence', (as someone charged in the comments here), that is primarily responsible for the increased rate at which we consumers find ourselves replacing electronic equipment today
    • Great video and audio, great build quality, very solid!
    • Great picture quality and sound.
    • The audio quality from the Oppo is so good that I turned off all processing from my Yamaha Aventage receiver and allow the Oppo to do it
    • Pro’s: quiet operation, super-fast on/off and load times, superior build quality, reference-quality A/V performance (via HDMI), good technical support, lighted R/C, comprehensive user interfaceCons: expensive, no lighted eject button on front panel, lousy customer service, no internal apps/streaming servicesAn absolutely fabulous player nearly ruined by a horrible buying experience!I ordered this through Amazon in order to add the A-Z guarantee and get 5% back on my Amazon Prime card

    • The elegant, solid quality, custom designed disc mechanism, and electronics produce an incredible picture
    • Making the adjustments to the TV's video settings such that it was as close to perfect as I could achieve - before tweeking anything on the player
    • So owners of this player are going to be screwed in the next year when versions and formats of the 4K Ultra HD blu rays enhance as they always do each
    • I am not going to keep a second bluray player hooked up just to play the discs this machine won`t
    • n’t regret
