They have recorded flawlessly and the ones I've tested in a regular DVD player (as well as in a computer) have played great without trouble.

the colors don't look quite as vibrant and perhaps appear a bit more "flat" after printing.

They are made by a company called UME which is well known for producing cheap and unreliable media (info retrieved from DVDinfo program)

Was considerably cheaper than some of the more well known brands of these disks.

But these disc are advertised as "Vinpower Digital - JVC", well known for their superior quality.

These discs are also well known, but for the opposite reason:

Since they are about half the cost of Verbatim, it is still worthwhile cost wise, but not time wise!Also, they only work with my Pioneer burner, they don't work at all with the Lite-On burner

Now I'm trying these as a cost-effective alternative, also at ~$0.50 per disc

These are a great low cost brand

At $0.66 a disc these Optical Quantum 8X 8.5GB DVD+R Double Layer discs are a great deal.

It's just a great deal for your money compare to other pricy brands

Well I thought I was getting a pretty good deal with these dual discs being under $30, but little did I know that I was overpaying by about 25 dollars

I dare you to find a better, less expensive deal.

Even with one out of seven failing as an average, they were still a good deal

overall, however, if you consider cost of item, free shipping, quality of the printable media, it's a fantastic deal.

but when i substituted a different brand disc i had no problems.needless to say, other than good shipping on the order, i would not recommend these to anyone

i don't use the inkjet printer stuff at all, but as far as using to burn i'm halfway through the pack and so far only about 4-5 duds, not bad for a brand i've never heard of

Before, only Vertabim; gave me printable +DL disc that worked

work great have had no problems with them

I don't print labels, so can't offer info on printing surface,but a sharpie works well

Terrible, about half the spindle works, other half fail with disc write error

Couple that with time wasted and concerns about the disc failing later, it is just not worth it.

My Lite-On burner has never failed with regular DVDs, no matter if I use cheap no name brands.

If I could return it I would, try another brand like amazon basics

Without question, when I want DL, I've stopped spending money on top name brands

the software used to burn the data onto the blank discs is not functioning properly for your burner/system.

Fortunately I had my important data backed up on single-layer discs and multiple hard drives as well, although I lost some non-important files such as movies and music that can easily be replaced

Of the 40 or so that I have used in the last two months, no less than 9 of them were defective and would not burn any data or video, or if they did burn it then the disc would not play back

I would recommend these if your data your backing up is not critical for a 100% fail-safe burn

I use this dvds to make my games backups, all discs were burned succesfully at max speed, now i will make a backup on my os, so this is the perfect choice,the blank cover is perfect to make a nice cd cover using permanent markers, thats is another good point, these are for inkjet hub printers but i dont have one.and the best thing about this product

Just to clarify, I have a very reliable burner (LG), it burns dvds even my other ASUS burner can't burn, so if this one can't burn a dvd, then that dvd can't be burnt

Sometimes these disks fail to burn, and that is not cool!

Used all 50 disks in this pack, had 20 failed burns at 1x.

If you want to record anything long format and go through a couple of bad disks from the same pack before you find one that burns without glitches I highly recommend these
