My pack of DVDs had a 50% defect rate- half of the disks couldn't be burned to or corrupted the data when they were burned to

the software used to burn the data onto the blank discs is not functioning properly for your burner/system.

Of the next five discs three either failed to write at all or wrote incorrectly resulting in scrambled data

No bad data's burn into disc so far

I would recommend these if your data your backing up is not critical for a 100% fail-safe burn

I would not trust these discs for any important data

Of the 40 or so that I have used in the last two months, no less than 9 of them were defective and would not burn any data or video, or if they did burn it then the disc would not play back

Fortunately I had my important data backed up on single-layer discs and multiple hard drives as well, although I lost some non-important files such as movies and music that can easily be replaced

They have recorded flawlessly and the ones I've tested in a regular DVD player (as well as in a computer) have played great without trouble.
