The Defender is well-made with a very good fit my iPhone 5s.

Perfect fit, after a bit of wiggling on the lower outer part to get it to lock into the hard plastic...dropped my i4s several times with a Defender case with NO issues -- expect the same with the Defender defending my i5s.

The outside rubber is rigid enough for it not to move around a lot.

Much better than the iPhone 4/4s cases where the rubber was too soft and pulled away from the hard plastic case underneath.

This rubber is much more user-friendly without compromising adhesion on slippery surfaces (like a car dash).

This is harder rubber, fits tighter, and is really a nice case.
