It's a soft silicone inside and a hard plastic shell that protects the phone very well, but the included screen protector seems to be just a bit too small and keeps peeling off on one corner

The surface is a smooth plastic, and slips out of your hand easily while laying in the palm of your hand while watching videos.

Not sure if there are different versions/batches out there but there are gaps around each corner and sides where the two layers are suppost to meet as the hard plastic layer doesn't fit correctly on the rubber layer

The "hard plastic" is soft (or pliable) enough that it doesn't break everytime I drop it

The hard plastic shell broke at both bottom corners and then the hard plastic along one edge split from the back

The only questionable part of this case is the screen protector is a film and not a rigid clear plastic piece, but that is part of what makes this case slim while maintaining excellent durability.

Case is very nice in my opinion except for the fact that the hard plastic case on the back and sides where you would hold the phone is slick.

My complaint is that after two years of use with my current phone and Commuter case, the hard plastic outer cover basically disintegrated, falling apart piece by piece as apparently the plastic that is used has only a two year life span before becoming brittle

Looks cheap, horrible plastic outside and the screen protector had to be put on with “steady” hands

Also, I was unaware that the back of this case is hard plastic, I thought it would be a silicone backing similar to the defender series

The hard plastic back has a few tiny light scratches from a year of abuse.

Plastic at outlet ports has cracked and chipped off with sharp edges.

This is because the hard plastic wraps around the lower 3/4 of the side.

The back is completely hard (slick) plastic

I replaced them frequently because the hard plastic would always break

Great rip off and its all plastic and breaks very easy also doesnt fit

the hard plastic is not coated with anything and has no grip, in fact it seems polished to some extent.

The blue on blue case has a bit more "personality" with a darker blue plastic shell encasing the lighter blue rubber interior

It's so durable, made of a hard plastic instead of flimsy material like more expensive cases

Fit perfect, easy to instal,l doesn't add any bulk to phone.

But also protects as it's meant to
