Will do a great job protecting your phone, but like every other otterbox, the edges begin to pull away and lose its appeal after just a few weeks

The case does a great job in protecting our phones.

The rubber tabs that cover the docking port , earphone jack, and mute/vibrate switch do an excellent job of staying closed without being overly difficult to open; I'm especially happy that the earphone jack cover lines up properly (it did NOT on the 4S case), while the cover for the docking port doesn't seem to be trying to force the power/synch cable out of the port (another problem with the older 4S version of the Defender)

I am rough on phones but this case and holster have done a fine job keeping my phone on me and safe when I drop it.

I dropped this case, with my phone in it, so many times I can't even think about counting but it always saved my phone Otterbox did an excellent job.

My main concern is for my screen to be protected and the flimsy plastic "screen protection" does not seem like it will do the job

Ordered another OtterBox (for yet another gently used 6S), as they have done a stellar job protecting her phone from young kids with butter fingers.

I got one for myself a few years ago and it did great job protecting my phone in a heavy industrial environment (steel mill).I learned the HARD way to buy these cases for my kids' phones.

but this case does a good job of getting it out and off the actual phone itself.

On the plus side, they have proven extremely sturdy in the past and do a bang-up job protecting the device against most minor to medium grade bumps, drops, and falls and even minor spills and water hazards
