As I mentioned, your phone is technically safe with just the hard plastic, but it looks weird

The one thing I disliked about the case was the flimsy plastic cover on the front

Fits a little off making it hard to push the volume buttons and the plastic covering the home button messes up & gets wrinkly, but it's a heavy duty case and works really well

Also, there IS a thin plastic contraption that protects your homebutton, but the homebutton and Touch ID still works perfectly

I had purchased a lifeproof case when I received my iPhone 6 & in less than 3 months it was falling apart with peeling/ripped rubber & broken plastic ends, I had this exact case on my 5 & loved it as well.

Love everything except the cheap plastic screen protetctorm that easily scratches, and gets hazzy where in your pockets

i bought my wife ,this case doesn't have to be removed to charged phone ,excellent product the only reason i gave it 4 out of 5 was because the plastic film that protects the screen is annoying

My only complaint is that the little plastic tab where you cool to access the charging port can be difficult to maneuver, and I find it easier to always leave the tab half open

I like this one, although I did remove the clear plastic built-in screen protector
