The iPhone X is a very expensive phone, and it’s odd that they don’t have a screen protector ready to go

His otterbox came with a screen protector and it is actually taking away from the functionality of the touch screen while mine is working perfectly with a JETtech screen protector (which I highly recommend) on it

It has a ample amount of spacing on the front to protect the screen if the phone is ever dropped screen size down

Was disappointed that the screen is not protected

Never broke a screen, never scratched a phone.

I did not realize there was not a screen protector like all other Defender cases have

Then again, there was always the Commuter if you didn't like the Defender's screen

To really protect the phone, use the hard screen cover case that comes with the belt clip/viewing stand.

and it's actually nice to enjoy the screen without any filter.

While there are bumpers around the outer edge, this doesn't protect your screen if the screen falls and hits an object

I've never had a screen protector that I really liked and what I want primarily is drop protection

On all my past Defenders, that screen protector created some odd screen artifacts and colors

However, my clear screen protector gets wrinkled

If it falls, it doesnt protect the screen, that is the whole point of a “otterbox”.

Case is good but as advertised in small print it does not come with a protective screen.

I only wish that it still had the protective screen on the front like all of the previous Defender cases have had.

Also, the screen is protected by the case on the front side because the lip protrudes from the screen a fair distance.

Just no clear screen cover like the old defender case.

The case is fine, HOWEVER when I looked up the case it did not state in the title that it is screen less

Just needed a glass cover to protect the screen and my phone has been all set

I have always bought otter box for my phones and family phones and have always given 5 star but this one is ok except NO SCREEN PROTECTOR, I had to buy one separately which is a super screen protector I bought but otter box should have incorporated it in the case like always, very sad disappointment

Product seemed ok, but wanted a case with integral screen protection.

And hey, I’m no Otterbox homey — love the Defender, but I’ve given them some tough love on the generally lousy screen protectors in the past, which generally came from trying to pass off the 6 case as fitting the wee bit larger 6s, for example.

So, unless you regularly carry your phone among items that may scratch the screen, I doubt screen protection is a must

5- the only time my iphone got demaged is when a shod quarter horse stepped on my iphone in the defender case the screen broke but thx to the built in screen protector the case still held together the

The front has such a large lip/edge that there’s no chance my screen would ever touch the ground, and the entire case is very solid and durable

I paired this with the Maxboost iPhone X Screen Protector which works well - sized perfectly.

Besides, you could always simply install the holster to protect the screen under those circumstances.

Beyond the missing front screen protection, the rest is as expected from OtterBox.

Protects the iphone and looks great, the only issue is that does not protect the screen, compared with other otterbox defender models for iphone!

However, the case for the iPhone X does NOT have the piece that protects the screen

There is also a front piece to protect the screen and has a belt clip on it

The defender series used to come with a protective screen cover over the front of the phone and now they don’t.

I haven’t broken an Iphone screen in years since i discovered these cases.
