It does not have the protective screen that the defender series does

Im a big fan of the defender series for my phones as I'm clumsy and tend to drop my phone a lot

The whole purpose for a Defender Series over Commuter is for the screen protector

The Defender series has been a go to case for many years for me

Three plus years with the Defender series on my Galaxy series phones, and they have survived probably a hundred drops

I would highly recommend the defender series to galaxy s9 users.

This is the commuter series not the defender series

This product needs to be more clearly marked that it does NOT include a built in screen protector like the defender series normally does

The defender series does a great job of protecting the case, though it does add quite a bit more bulk than competing cases
